This page contains a small collection of my mecha MOCs. Some of these are inspired by or based on existing designs. My AV-98 Ingram, Tsugumori, and Gundam designs are in their own respective pages.
ED-209
This is my attempt at the classic design from the 1987 classic film. It is one of my earliest digital designs. Although swooshable, it is not quite to scale, being bigger than it is supposed to be as I was initially aiming for minifigure scale. Nonetheless, I am happy enough with it given the conflicting design constraints of faithfully replicating the details, functionality, size and economy.

Heavy Spider Tank
Inspired by the designs as seen the manga and anime of Ghost in the Shell and Appleseed, this thing emphasizes armament.

Tau Riptide
I am not a fan of Warhammer 40k but I do appreciate some of the designs and artwork.

Tachikoma
Can’t get into mecha without do this one.

LW4 Series Light Spider Tanks
As the name states, the below are light spider tanks, inspired by the Tachikoma. The variants are based on the same platform. Some can carry one pilot, others are purely autonomous.

YF-50 Variable Fighter
This is a variable fighter heavily based on the SVMS-01 Union Flag by mechanical designer Fukuchi Hitoshi featured in Mobile Suit Gundam 00 (2007). It is not intended to replicate the Flag in every detail, mainly following its general form and relatively simple transformation.
There is some inspiration taken from Macross. As such, it is a three-mode variable fighter even though I did not initially intend a GERWALK mode, but it doesn’t look bad so why not?!
It seats one minifigure pilot. Shields can be attached to both arms and a rifle can be attached to either/both shields. Only one is attached to the right shield in the pictures shown below of the Battroid and GERWALK modes. In Fighter mode, the rifle is underneath the cockpit along the centerline.
The model does have landing gears although I could not find an effective way to lock the front landing gear, opting for what is clearly a clumsy way for now.

HW2 Heavy Walker Mechs
These two mech designs are part of a collaborative project with and based on an original design by @exo_mocs.
Both are also inspired by mecha anime. Other than that, I took a very conservative approach as it is difficult to maintain a similar scale to the original that is aesthetically pleasing and functional. The original design is probably the best way to build it if one is going for that look at that size.
The HW2-CD series is intended for civil duties. Both have two hardpoints on the back for flight units and/or weapons.
HW2-CD1 “Defender” (dark blue) is designed for law enforcement, rescue and even urban combat. The right arm is equipped with a variable-yield particle cannon, and the left arm has a retractable battering ram and a shield. It has two light anti-grav flight units for CQB maneuverability as well as steady and precise hovering/flight. However, it is limited to low-altitude and short-range flights. Each flight unit is also a low-yield plasma cannon as its power system drives both.
HW2-CD2 “Seraphim” (white) is designed for civil defense, particularly for siege and other defensive scenarios. The right arm is equipped with a variable-yield particle cannon, and the left arm has a storage container for supplies. Both arms have shields. It has two heavy anti-grav flight units which are more designed for load, altitude and range rather than CQB maneuverability.
