Passenger Train
This passenger train takes a near-future mildly sci-fi approach. Other than that, it is meant to be a fictional passenger train. This design was entered for the 2024 Brick Train Awards – Best Digital Locomotive.
- Standard Lego 5-stud gauge.
- Minifigure-playable.
- Designed for daily service in metro areas as well as overnight travel.
- Locomotive with motor for a crew of one or two, including resting space.
- Carriages have identical exterior and two interior designs: one has standard seating and the other has two overnight suites.
- All have sliding doors on both sides.
- Roof panels can be easily removed.
Missile Launcher
The below is a small railway carriage missile launcher. This design was entered for the 2024 Brick Train Awards – Build Challenge. The constraint is that the build must fit within a 16-stud cube.
- Standard Lego 5-stud gauge.
- Minifigure-playable.
- Carries 4 missiles.
- Access and terminal panels on both sides.
- Missile launcher and rack can rotate (pitch and yaw).
- Fits within 16 studs even when fully deployed.
ALFA-X Shinkansen
Below is my adaptation of the ALFA-X Shinkansen: Car 1 locomotive, Car 10 locomotive, and Car 3 (and 7) with pantograph. This design was entered for the 2026 Brick Train Awards – Best Digital Locomotive.
- Standard Lego 5-stud gauge.
- Minifigure-playable.
- Locomotives have been simplified to one door instead of two on each side, sliding outside instead of inside.
- Roof panels can be removed.
